"The skin of the octopus was deep blue and camouflaged marvelously with the sea giving it the opportunity to sneak up to my ship without being sighted. The approaching storm certainly did not help! Its eight enormous arms burst from of the sea and took control of my vessel. I ordered my crew to hack at the creature to loosen its grasp. They hacked at the beast with extreme fervor. While we were able to escape certain demise, the creature remains a danger for any who plan to use the island pass."
